Each separate KBN Trail will maintain and track a Team of the Year standings for their respective High School and Junior division to assist with the final determination of which teams qualify for end of the year events for (a) KBN High School & Junior Classics and (b) Bassmaster High School & Junior National Championships. The Team of the Year standings will leverage a one-point system starting with 300 points based on the results from each event to determine the Team of the Year in each trail after the conclusion of each trail's four (4) event schedule.
For Example, 1st place = 300 points, 2nd place = 299, 3rd place = 298, 4th place = 297, etc.
~When there is a tie or a place, the next place number used will be based on the number of teams listed (i.e., if there was a tie for 3rd place between two teams the next place would be skipped -- 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 3rd, 5th, and 6th).
~Teams who compete in a tournament event, but do not weigh a legal bass will still be awarded 25 points towards the respective division’s Team of the Year standings.
